Afternoon
- Join us for the annual HCHS Cyclone parade! We’ve had
someone offer to pull a flatbed in the parade so our current
plan is to have a Class of 88 float. For anyone willing to
help decorate the float, please contact one of the committee
members listed below. If you wish to ride on the float, plan
to meet at the Therkildsen Center (the old middle school) at
1:45.
First come/first serve til it’s full. Anyone still have an
old Class of ‘88 shirt for memorabilia!!! Ha ha
Evening
- The Homecoming game against Winterset kicks off at
7:30,
and an informal post-game gathering will take place at the
newly remodeled Westside on the square in Harlan
afterwards.

Saturday, September 27, 2008
Morning
- HCHS alumni Steve Wilwerding has offered to give a tour of
the High School / Middle School for anyone wishing to see
the old stomping grounds. Please plan to meet at the main
entrance of the high school at
11am.
Afternoon
- Due to there being a cross country meet at the County Club
that morning, anyone wishing to golf won’t be able to do so
until
noon.
The golf carts are on a first come/first serve basis and
should be reserved in advance by calling the golf course at
(712) 755-5951. The fees for golf are as follows: ($35
w/green fees & cart for day)
($20 green
fees only for day)
($15 for green
fees 9 holes only)
ATTENTION
NON-Golfers
- For those that do not golf, please join us at Potter’s
park any time from
noon on
to play some sand volleyball, maybe go on a scavenger hunt
around town, or just sit and reminisce about old times.
Bring a chair and some good stories to share!!! There will
be a grill available if you want to bring something. You are
also welcome to bring a “cooler” if you choose.
Evening
- The main event will take place at the Harlan Golf &
Country Club. Details for this event are as follows:
6:30-7:30 (Social Hour)
7:30-8:30 (Italian Buffet)
9:00 - Midnight (Clockwork Band)
Clockwork (presenting Class of 88 grad
Rick Dotzler on the drums along with 3 other HCHS grads) will be playing for our
entertainment this year. Check out their site and music at
www.clockworkrocks.com. The musical talent of our class
is awesome! Mighty Nish last year and Clockwork this year …
should make for a great time had by all once again.
